I have a question about torque values. In the write up Randys says 80 for the head studs and 35 for the rod bolts. ARP states 90 for the head and 40 for the rods......which is correct?

In is most likely the injector spider failing. Very common problem with those engines. Or it could be the regulator leaking into the plenum. Here is a link to what the injector spider looks like http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Gp-Sorensen-Fuel-Injector/1996-Chevrolet-G10-1-2-ton-Van/_/N-j5d20Z8vd08?counter=0&itemIdentifier=789004_151679_5560_ If that is your problem make sure you get the newer SCPI conversion to MFI

Did the belt break while it was running or did you change it just to change it? Also did you change the balance shaft belt
If the belt broke while it was running there is a very good chance there are a few bent valves

I dont think the t-case is broke, it only puts power to the rear wheels not all 4. The diff might of let loose or the main gear shaft, input shaft could of broken but doubtful. I think the pressure plate/ clutch are wasted.
