So there's a computer under driver seat. I was wondering about the a/m belt ecu too? Would replacing be the best solution? Is there a way to test em?

So a friend of mine wanted to put a sub in my car for free. So I took it. He installed it himself and everything worked fine. He installed a Sony deck. With amp and sub. Everything worked fine for a little. Then when putting everything back I guess something shorted. I checked all fuses possible. Nothing was blown. The driver dire speaker went out, the clock turns of when doors closed, dash light doesn't work, my door thinks it's open all the time, my auto seat belts don't move, and also when I turn my light on my clock light turns off. I take it that it'll be better to see than to just hear about it but I don't know of any sq guy near me. Thanks for looking hope that's enough info

I was thinking the same. brake booster. but i dont wanna replace just like that. last this happened i ran my car hard then a vacuum line that went from the booster to engine came off and the pedal felt the same way. but this time no vacuum lines are unplugged.

The first stop was normal then after that the pedal became stiff and would only press in about a quarter of the way, slowing down was harder. i would pump it then next stop would be normal again. but it seemed to happen randomly.

so i drove my 88 sq this morning she was fine. then in the afternoon i drove her again my brake pedal became stiff after the first stop. then it became regular again so on and so forth. i was wondering if anyone had this happen to better help me pinpoint my problem. shes my daily driver so i need to find problem and fix within a days worth of work hopefully on saturday night or sunday. i checked my lines they seem fine no disconnection by the way. thanks!!
