  6. I restored my quest for my wife about 2 yrs ago, she didn't want to drive it..... Rebuilt motor I bought on the forum, and I got a nice rebuilt auto trans. I never got it on the road, and now I'm gonna v8 swap it I'm selling what I won't need. Motor is .030 over or .060 over with new internals, like 20 miles on it. Hi Guys, The Price: $6000 obo for everything Location: Eastern PA, Allentown area The Story: I put this 1988 SHP Auto Conquest together last year, Its a survivor, not running, but everything was there. The body is in nice shape, no rust, clean complete blackleather interior. Motor was shot, I bought a rebuilt on the forum here, caravan head, Wiseco Pistons .030 over. I installed the motor, all new accesories, belts and even charged the R12 AC system, was blowing at 42 degrees. Turned out trans was bad too, so I put in a rebuilt, with shift kit, and a good balanced.driveshaft. The rear is also upgraded to the bigger 88/89 manual design, with bigger axle shafts and beefier hubs. The bad: The assembly and install of all the components went great, the engine fired right up and idled ok. I learned on the first test drive, however, that the boost was coming on, then the motor stumbled and backfired imediately. I spent countless hours replacing and testing all possible components, and i believe the internal timing is off. Since I didnt assemble the motor, it was already put togther by the forum member i bought it from, I cant say that its right or wrong. Long story short, I stopped working on it November of 2010, and went on to my next project. It is time to sell, I have thousands in new parts in a nice body rust free chassis. I also have the parts cars that i used along the way, as well as a complete 1995 Mustang 5.0 motor I was thihking about swapping into one of the pars cars, the interior on the 1988 parts car is complete and in great shape. Car has been sitting at my garage since November 2010, no leaks, but exterior is dirty and engine parts oxidizing altille.   13. Just completed a full rebuild on my 1988 conquest Timing is good and motor runs and idles smooth Problem is it stumbles under boost. I've checked ignition and air, intercooler piping, and believe I've narrowed it down to secondary injector or a leaking diaphragm in the fuel reg or vac advance Looking for some one in the area to help get it running perfectly U can call or text me Joe 484-358-37eight seven Located in area code 18011

Well I finally got a good TPS installed and I have the same result When I check engine codes I get a constant single pulse of 12v on the meter I'm not sure if this means code 1 for o2 sensor but I'm still having issues of stumbling when I boost Could this be the o2? Could it be s failing coil? Seems as if there is plenty of fuel, I think it's spark/ignition Any suggestions? Joe
