I'm considering getting rid of my impreza and I would like another starquest so I'm just checking interest and seeing what kind of offers I get. It's a 95 Impreza that started life as a NA 1.8l fwd car. I swapped in a ej22e and awd legacy suspension. All aftermaket parts are less than a year old, but this month I have bought a new throw out bearing, Oil feed line, passenger front CV, all fluids, and a bunch of new lines and hardware. The body is really beat up but there is no rust at all (came from Nebraska). Drivers side fender is pretty hamered and it a new marker light for the drivers side also. Interior is decent except for the the seats that are really tore up. It could also use a clutch. It is fine for normal driving, but it's stock and doesn't like 8psi. In the last year, I have bought: FMIC and hardpiping kit 57 trim T3/T4 hybrid turbo 38mm External wastegate RRFPR SSQV copy BOV Roller cam and rockers Modded injectors (flow about 550cc) Legacy parts car 07 wrx driveshaft Greddy turbo timer sti shift knob sti radiator cap sti oil cap JDM side markers 3 guage pillar pod (boost,oil press.,AFR) custom 2.5" uppipe custom 2.5" catless DP Carbon fiber/Ti burn tip muffler Nippon racing 17's with new tires Pioneer Premier cd player I dont have a any pics of the car on the ground after the AWD swap yet but I will soon. It looks like it did before, just missing a marker light, way higher(really really needs lowering springs), and disks in the back with bigger disks up front) I included some pics of before and during the AWD swap

What makes you think that it needs a head? I was just about positive that it was a rod knock before I sold it. It had a deep knocking sound coming from the bottom end and metal shavings in the oil.

It's on there just because that what I for an air filter at the time. I plan to just eliminate the whole intake and everything, and put a clamp on filter directly on the turbo

I got most of the exhaust leaks fixed, painted the carb hat black, and fixed the boost leak. It's running great now.

I had a quest for about a month till it ate some rod bearings. I used it to turbo my beetle, and sold the rest. I have missed it since the day I sold it and I want another one. I'm not looking for a perfect car, just a really clean driver that doesn't have any problems. It has to be a widebody, and black is my favorite but that really doesnt matter. Im located in Keokuk,IA It's not very rusty, and what rust is there I have patch panels for. The pans are a couple years old, but are nice and were recently cleaned up and painted chassis black. All suspension components have been painted and theres a lot of new stainless hardware too. I have a lot of time and money invested in this car and it's alot of fun and definetly gets lots of attention. It's low, loud, and rough. Ton's of fun! The bad: It has no turn signals. The switch is there and I have them relocated to the headlight bucket, it just needs a little bit of wiring.
