    Flatty Fender

I may be willing to take a weekend and drive out to get some stuff. This fender search is killing me!
  6. Looking for a Flatty LT fender. Looking for other left front corner parts as well, headlamp, bumper, header panel, spoiler. Most importantly I need the fender though. IM or email at braddesantis@gmail.com
  7. No hurry, I appriciate any efforts!
  8. I am pretty interested, sorry for the delayed response, real life gets in the way of car life sometimes! I would like to take a look at that as I may be out your way soon anyway, the fender and a headlamp assy would be pretty key in getting this thing back on the road. As far as snow driving, it was/will be my daily car, I clean ot ALL the time and keep the salt off it. I work in a body shop and can pull it in and give it a good cleaning almost daily!
  9. Back up, anybody willing to ship?
  10. Straight and rust free might be worth it. I wonder how much it would cost. I know I had a friend who shipped sheetmetal via Greyhound once and it wasn't too too bad. What where you thinking price wise?
  11. Awesome. Not very experienced in the shipping of sheet metal and your probably as far away as you could be haha. But.... how much do you think for everything shipped to 01833?
  12. Well over the past winter this happened...... http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6139/5998709924_e92e514d88_z.jpg http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6130/5998172269_03b515199f_z.jpg Totally not my fault and was paid by the other parties insurance to repair. I asked the appraiser who came to look at it if he would kindly not write it off and just write up to what ever the value was he could so as to avoid totaling it and I would decide what to do later. Thankfully he did! Being as it was winter and I needed a car pretty quick I picked up this '87 Audi 4000. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6135/5998721762_7bc7c4c7e7_b.jpg I have been driving that since march and while I love it, I miss my ES!! So I am looking for the front sheet metal for the Starion. Parts I need..... LT Fender Header Panel LT Headlamp Bumper Assy Spoiler The fender is what I need the most, I can NOT find a decent flat side fender in the North East and I need that on the car when I send it to the frame shop to straighten the Lt fender rail. I think that the rest of the parts besides the spoiler are the same for a Flat car or Widebody.
  13. Well over the past winter this happened...... http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6139/5998709924_e92e514d88_z.jpg A younger driver in an '08 Altima decided the stop sign was not for him. I just could not stop in time! The car has now been sitting since February and I really want it back on the road now. I miss my ES!! Parts I need..... LT Fender Header Panel LT Headlamp Bumper Assy Fog/Turn Signal Spoiler The fender is what I need the most, I can NOT find a decent flat side fender in the North East and I need that on the car when I send it to the frame shop to straighten the Lt fender rail. I think that the rest of the parts besides the spoiler are the same for a Flat car or Widebody. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  14. Did you change the vacuum advance? I had the same exact problem, like exact, and after suggestions from some of the minds here that (plus the dist cleaning) cleared it all up.
  15. When the boss says "go" I guess you have to. Not that as an insurance appraiser anybody would actually drive their cars in to be seen anyway and I was alone in my office most of the day!
  16. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5203/5349190294_46de346247_z.jpg Gotta love a good drive in the deep snow with Rear Wheel Drive and snow tires! Made it to work by 7am on the big snowstorm day. Who needs an SUV anyway?!
  17. Just noticed that on Jalopnik this morning myself.
  18. Thanks Robert, I had not even thought of the vacuum advance..thats a pretty good thought though, and pretty much the last part not changed in the ignition. I will look into that tonight. As far as the TPS/ISC, I did do that back when I was having idle issues, I have the scan of the '85 Service Manual.
  19. Thanks, I already committed to Mike on his switch. I have a black cover, figured I would ask before trying that. Thanks though! Thanks Tim, yeah single white with the Black to Grey fade ES stripe. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3232/4552760773_4f8c95700c_z.jpg
  20. For the center console right? Excellent. I will Pm you! I know on the interior, and honestly, I dont need anything real bad other than a cargo cover... just figured I would like to stock them for future breaking of stupid brittle plastic. My interior is pretty clean... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3200/4552765557_4776100070_z.jpg other than that damn rip in the bolster!
  21. The cracks were not the cause of the leak, but they made a loose connection even with new connectors. Ok, so... What happened was one of the re manufactured injectors was bad, Remart's customer service was excellent and they shipped another right out. That seemed to solve all my problems and the car ran great. Idle issue was the coolant sensor not reading and that is all better. I have been driving the car daily since July and have had very few problems. Now fast foward a few months and its VERY cold up here in the Northeast. When the car is cold, it has a NASTY skip, but once its warm the only problem is a small hiccup around 3500rpm under a heavy load. Injectors are not leaking, and everything seems to be in check. Just changed the plugs and wires again and the rest of the ignition system was new about 3500 miles ago. Any one have any thoughts? Car info now.. 94,000 miles in the past 3 to 4 thousand miles... Plugs Wires Cap All fluids PCV Valve Injectors Injector harness Coolant temp sensor And unrelated to the running issue... Rocker Cover Gasket Clutch/Flywheel U-joints Radiator hoses
  22. If MadMax does not need the center console, or would not need the window switches, I need those.
  23. Looking for a few parts for my '84 ES. Most importantly I need a window switch, I have a jury rigged set up that works, but I would like to find the center console switches or at least one of the two that I can reinstall in the factory housing. Other less important parts I am looking for are a front valance, front and rear bumper assy, one piece flat body lower spoiler, an ES dual shaft radio bezel and a brown cargo cover (actually, most brown interior parts in good shape.)
  24. Sad I had to miss this... the location change put it just a bit to far for the time I had, and i would have needed to do my clutch before anyway. Next year I will be there!!! And the car will be 100% nicer.
  25. No trailers allowed! Doing a 'shakedown' run in mine this weekend, Georgetown Ma to Limerock Park for the Vintage races Saturday, then Limerock to Hiram Maine for camping, then back to mass. If it makes that, NJ will be a breeze!
