  7. Dave, Would you cut out both of the air vent body panels/skins between the doors and rear windows? How much shipped to 60490?
  8. Looking for both of the outer skin sections of the air vent panels located between the door jambs and rear glass panels. If it is easier to cut the entire post out, that's fine. Can anyone help?
  9. Well, you made me think hard. Found no power to the lights until, low and behold, my son was playing with the headlamp switch. I knew that the fog lights would only work with the headlights in the low beam position but, didn't know that the headlights needed to be on. Thought fog lights were independent. Sure appreciate your advice because I would have never realized this without checking @ the relay. They work great, yeah!!!!
  10. Appreciate the advice.....will do!
  11. A wealth of information on this site.....been very helpful. Guess I'll keep that on hand, just in case. I ordered a complete injector seal kit from Randy, and for the few extra bucks, while I'm in there I figure to reduild the throttle body as well. The fuel odor is getting obnoxious and I learned this will help smooth out the idle too. I think I found a mechanic that worked for Chrysler "back in the day" and he claims to be very familiar with this vehilcle. While I am pretty handy with most of the repairs, I've never had to deal with tuning one of these up. I've read alot of threads about tune ups with an auto trans but, not sure of any special tools I'll need. So, when I replace all of the seals, I want to improve the setting "to above factory". Do you have any suggestions on equipment required and then, what those setting are? Is there a thread posted here with these details?
  12. I do have a spare switch cluster which I will exchange. When you were troubleshooting, did you locate the diodes? Need to satisfy my curiosity!
  13. How much for sets for both injectors and are there any tricks of the trade I should know? I have no experience with this work.
  14. Fog lights haven't worked since I purchased the car. I have checked fuses, bulbs and replaced the relay. I have tesetd the plug and I have found that I have a good ground to the fixture but, not power to the fog lights. Driving lights and turnsignals work fine. The wiring schematic refers to diodes in the system. Where are they? The troulbeshoot section of the manual suggests this to be the first place to check when both don't work. Can anyone help me navigate through this problem?
  15. I acquired an O-ring kit which has a small plastic bag with 10 pcs, which is still sealed. It is in a larger Mitsu OEM bag with diagram instructions which has been opened. The part number on the bag is MB350395. My concern is whether I have a complete set to reseal both injectors and whether they are for an 89. They came with an 88 roller I purchased. Any comments? Anyone have a new set if I don't have complete set?
  16. Hey guys, I've been wondering the same thing. Mine is an auto and it makes the same sounds. I'd refer to it as a rummble, in my case. It doesn;t do it all the time but often enought that I am starting to work through replacing variious items. I also have an occaisional clunk when downshifting or going from drive to reverse and vise versa. First came the trans mount, definitely broken before. 2nd, replcaed both axles with rebuilts. Next will be the rear strut assemblies, since I have them. The crossmember supporting the torque tube that has large mounting bolts and bushings does have some movement but, not alot. If I still have these noises after above, I would be stuck. Anyone have suggestions for replacements? The remaining mounts and bushing all appear to be solid. Anybody solves this problem, I'd sure like to hear.
  17. Hey 101, Rec'd mine today....looks great and can't wait to start project. Thanks again for the GP and Happy Holidays to all!

  19. I sure hope next week is close to realistic....really need 'em bad. One of my biggest questions is how is this going to impact each set financially? 101 has been good about keeping us in the loop and hopefully he will continue!!
