  1. Nice VR4, blends well with the snow, we're in March and I have yet to wash my black corolla much less drive the red '87 quest. They spray so much sand here and the roads become muddy brown, the currently color of my corolla.
  2. Have you considered a V70R AWD? I used to own an 850 turbo 222hp and that was a fun wagon, fast, comfortable and roomy. The V70R's 300hp engine will not bore you , AWD, stick or automatic, limited to 155mph, thee most comfortable seats, very safe, select ride for comfort or corners, optional 3rd seat for the kids when the inlaws are in town, headlight wipers, optional built in child seats, very sporty looking for a wagon and did I mention fast! I would definitely test drive one, at least the S60R which are more common. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-n5vLY3xqA
  3. Wow, that was really graphic video, everything being pulled into the sea.
  4. You must feel like if you were trading silver, very volatile, could swing drastically either way!
  5. never had to worry about a tsunami living at almost 2 miles above sea level, I can only imagine the calamities, suffering and loss near coastal lines, hope people were alerted soon enough to seek higher ground.

  8. Is it that hot already in Tucson?
  9. What a blessing! He is still the same Christ that performed many miracles 2000 years ago and you man are living proof of it! Wish you much health, prosperity and continued peace that has brought you through this major storm God bless, Renato
  10. Pretty decent show for a mini meet and nice weather too! Well, gotta go shovel snow before heading to work
  11. Fearless predatory bird http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XafAdkZIYKA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Re644qgnCtw
  12. Another reason might be flying is a real hassle anymore so more people are driving to their destinations + economy is weak and for a family it is more economical to drive than to fly.
  13. good video Robert, liked all the different camera angles
  14. Man, that's sad news but I'm sure its for the better. Much success to you and your family!
  15. Glad you're back home, that means the doc's are pretty confident you are going to be ok. To everyone here, don't ignore any signs of heart trouble, that's our engine and if it stops you can only hope to get a jump start immediately. I'm 46 now but at 38 I felt an awful feeling and my chest was like being pressed by a ton of bricks, I took 2 aspirins and still no relief, I left work and drove straight to the hospital(should have asked someone to drive me there). Like most men, we like to tough it out, thinking more of wife and kids than my male toughness is what got me to check in at the ER. 2 days later I am told stress was the culprit, I was relieved but at the same time it is not an easy thing to change. Stress can cause havoc on one's body and it is very illusive cause of a variety of symptoms. My solution to reduce stress was to change in a big way, we downsized the house and vehicles and moved away from the big city. To my luck I was able to stay with the same company and relocate to one of our small offices but I was ready for a career change also. Debt is a big contributor to stress, it matters more what you do with what you make than how much you make, we hear of celebrities who earn millions and are in financial ruin, to most financial stress can be avoided by having a simpler life style and never out spend your income. Credit card debt is a trap to take away your freedom, do your best to avoid it. My forced idle time caused me to reflect about life and priorities, you will be ok and will come out of this even more mature and refined. God bless you and your family, wish you much success and great health.
  16. Your rooster and the dogs, I wonder if that's how this cartoon came about? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF6-M-XLrkM
  17. I'm with Tim, in the dark with most current events, last meaning it will be replaced or they're are just pulling the plug?
  18. Thanks My exhaust sounds pretty deep but then I heard Randy's, mine doesn't compare, when he fires up his V8 people around take notice
  19. I envy Randy's V8 sound! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PvVVe8WomE
  20. I got the biggest garage, the outdoors Wish I had one
  21. The band practices at my house with amps and all, so it gets ridiculous loud!!! How sad about that young drummer losing his life, my hart goes out to his parents. As you can see in this video, HLTD needs more practice still, meaning its gonna feel like I'm living inside a giant speaker for a while still http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAPP5Qk8tn8
  22. Buying used is the way to go, initially we bought him a new set for $350 and it did not last long, a good set is expensive so shop craigslist, great deals there especially for how young your daughter is, she will just need a basic set to start. Nick is already on his 3rd drum set. Nick is 17 now and at 15 is when he took interest, since he formed a band about 3-4 months ago he has really improved his drumming skills, he still has a lot more to learn but being part of band is key to getting better at it, so if your daughter sticks to it, have her become part of a band later in life. The cons about being a drummer is with every gig there's so much to haul with you and setting up, also your home will sometimes be too loud to even think, but it is great fun watching your kid play. This could be your daughter someday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pw88GY9ckng
  23. This Sunday they're doing battle of the bands down in Denver, what a blast for these youngsters, their band name is HLTD ages 16 to 21 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaHeNAIUrpU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Fve3gNWABk

  25. I heard from somewhere that if our Colorado mountains could be pushed flat it would then be bigger than the state of Texas! I've lived here for over 20 years and probably only seen half the state. Vast unpopulated lands here, just pick your spot!
