I hav an 88 shp conquest that I'm parting out the engine and trans are gone this car was a v8 swap car the body is in great shape and it's all there minus engine and trans and comp let me know what you need I live in northern California and I will be stripping the car in the next 2 weeks

There is a small black/yellow wire in the conquest engine harness that runs power to the ford starter solinoid

Ya I've been looking at easier project since I started but 6 months from the day I brought her home she's alive and now I can't wait to drive it

Ill post pics of progress along the way and things I ran into that can be avoid for the next swapper Thank to tim and all the others I completed my swap for $4200 including the price of the car

I picked up a harness from RJM injection it had a power wire to the battery for the ecmAnd one wire goes to the ignition side of the switch and one wire goes to the run side of the switch I didn't know if I just hook the white wires from the engine compartment to the silinoid if that Would work the starter with the ignition switch or if I have to run a separate wire from the switch to The silinoid to put power to the starter from the switch

did you run a wire from the ignition switch to the silinoid or did you just hook up the white wires

I hope to have my v8 swap done by january if a meet is planned around then I'd be done to cruise the coast or bbq

Hey tim I'm almost done wiring my car can you snap a pic of your battery and silinoid so I can wire in the electronics for the car not the engine

Where are the wires to tie in the fuel pump to my mustang harness
