Ask if it has the ranger head which has different rokers ( a plus) you can also put an earlier turbo (bigger) on it . The 83-86 t-birds had a larger turbo but were not i/c the 87-88 had i/c with smaller turbo. the svo had a different setup that was rated 210 h.p. If you want i can send you a video of a 11 sec. mustang that we built dynoed 383rwhp 460 ftlbs. t3\t4 60 lbs. inj. megasquirt, etc...great cars. mustangs also did not ever have disc in the rear till 94 and the t birds had them way back so it is all there it should have an 8.8 with 4 lug discs.

Put a turbo on it and I'd drive one! Reminds me of my 1990 pos that I drive everyday. 221,000 miles and still gets 48 on the hwy.

Here it is sorry for the delay. I now have put 400 miles on the ol' dd. After a fmu and a xtra fuel pump it now spools to 10 psi (for now). Runs better than ever including when I was spraying it. It also has gone up in fuel mileage if I can keep my foot out of it. I have never had so many people ask questions about my muffler. lol One lady asked me why I put my carburator in the back of the car. Moparts paint on a budget. I just googled it and it is the second one down if you type in( $50 paint job )

Google $50 paint job. There is a guy on a mopar website that tells in detail how to paint a car with rollers but not a crap job he has pictures to prove it too! if you cannot find it look on fordfestiva.com and search $50 paint job. It is really interesting and may give you some ideas. Good luck it will only turn out as good as you prep it.

63 hp and 83 torque stock of course it is........not fast it is faster now tho.

I mounted it low so heat is not an issue, the gas tank is opposite side of car, and as far as rust it is a 20 yr old chitbox so who cares there is more rust on 1 fender of the quest than this whole car has lol. Wieght wise total only added 35 lbs. Well worth it.

Ok guys it is on and it works!!!! It does have some lag time but makes 5 psi around 3k rpms. I ordered a fmu and an extra fuel pump to support the load. I had (elkidmino)(dave) from here stop by last night and check it out. It makes lots of turbo noise which trips everyone out being on a 200k mile 20 year old festiva. I also left the 10 lb. bottle in the car to make people wonder. Clutch has no chance of handling the extra power (7inch) friction disc is already weak from all the nitrous. It'll be replced soon.
