  1. I baught this car as a project car this spring, it had been sitting for a few years when i purchased it so there is a little bit of rust. Since this ive replaced the steering linkage?, ball joints, tie rod ends, brakes, rotors, rebuilt the throttle body, and im sure there is a few other things im forgetting. It was running and driving but losing power (then i noticed the exhaust manifold gasket was missing 2 bolts, and the manifold has several cracks in it). Since then I have started taking off the parts to get to the exhaust manifold and thats about where she sits. I just wrecked my dsm, and I dont need 3 project cars now. Either send me a pm or call/txt 3046853311 Sorry for the lousy pics they were taken with my cell phone after it had snowed a couple days ago.
  2. Thanks, its been a process trying to bring this quest back to life. Slowly but surely shes been getting lots of new parts, now if i could just take care of the rust she would be good.
  3. Dads is the first place I looked but it says its sold out.
  4. well if noone else responds consider it sold, Mine is completely cracked and falling apart.
  5. Just looking to buy a stock or bolt on exhaust manifold with no cracks, preferably in the WV or PA area, im from the Morgantown area and would like to pick it up in person.
  6. Thanks alot for the advice guys, its dark out now but tomorrow ill take a look at the injector clips again. To be honest I dont know if they are the original or not as I just bought the quest a few months ago. As for dirty old man Ill try swapping the battery again I need to get another one anyway as the quest and my dsm have been splitting a battery depending on which one is currently running at the moment.
  7. not sure about timing, injector clips looked good, fuel pressure im unsure about. plugs are ngkbpr6es, no vacuum leaks that im aware of they are all zip tied(thanks dsms). Didnt see any holes or anything in the intercooler pipes and they are all on tight. Car was running good for 3 or so months in a row without messing with anything, so just kind of a sudden problem. Like i said it will start up and idle fine, just not really anything when you give it gas.
  8. Yea, ive read that about 10 times, although it does contain some useful information not so much in this case.
  9. The car in question is stock, just trying to get an idea of whats going on. I was driving it home one night and the car kept losing power. It got to the point where I had to almost try and launch it to get it moving again. Now its at the point where it will start up and idle but will not move, as in it wont climb up a 1'' cement slab. Ive done a little bit of looking around and noticed that 2 bolts must have backed out of the exhaust manifold and there is now several cracks in the manifold itself. I know this will cause a lack of power, but would this cause such a complete loss, and if not what else could it be?.
  10. How much for the stock o2 housing and is there any rust on the driver side front fender?
  11. Im just the opposite I have had my 98 gsx for about 5 years now, just added a quest to the stable a couple weeks ago.
