im looking for a turbo gasket set, and a set of hoses for a conquest. im looking for aftermarket silicone or metal hoses, but i need them, so anything you got let me know.

what i thought was gas happened to be oil that ran down the block. when i was driving it there the hose leaving the turbo popped off, and was full of oil. its looking like a bad turbo or a bad head.. ill know more tomorrow.

bringing it to a mechanic in a little while.. we shall see what the problem is today or tomorrow.

im pretty sure its gas, but im not 100% positive. what i wiped off the ground wasnt colored like antifreeze, and did not smell like oil. i said gas because it smelled like diluted gas.

i found something new, the car is leaking gas. its puddling by the passengers front tire.

i dont think they took it off, im just saying its aggrovating that i just made it look nice, and i cant drive it now.

thanks for the help. im getting the exhaust looked at tomorrow. the depressing thing with all of this is that i just got the entire exterior of the car redone

haha i was under the car when you posted that. there is smoke coming from the point where the two pipes connect behind the catalyc converter, the catalyc converters making a load ot pinging noises, and theres smoke coming from where the exhaust meets the engine. but would an exhaust problem explain the hesitating?

i havnt changed any gaskets since replacing the head a yr ago. the smoke looks lower than the turbo, possibly around the start of the exhaust. as for noise, the whole car is running very loud, and i cant hear much of anything.

passenger side. i just went outside and started it up. it idles fine for about 45 seconds, then starts to stall out. when i hit the gas pedal, i smell gas real heavily, and the smoke seems to come from around the exhaust? also right after i hit the gas pedal, a little more smoke than what i expected comes out of the exhaust, but its just for a second or two. the cars also very bouncy, and hesitant.

the spark plugs were just changed, first thing i did to attempt to fix the problem. its definately not the head, ive already blown that up once. the smoke looks like its coming from low on the engine and more to the right side. also its not coming from around the turbo.

im in need of a little help diagnosing a problem with my 87 quest. it's emitting white smoke that smells like gas from i believe below or close to the bottom of the engine block. it seems to be coming from the right side of the engine. it is also hesitating horribly and stalling out when i stop. im guessing its related to the gas lines, etc due to the spot the smokes coming from and the hesitating.im not the best with cars, but id at least like to get an idea as to whats wrong with it before bringing it to my mechanic. any ideas are greatly appreciated.

the top looks pushed down slightly in one of the pics of the bumper cover. is it just the angle, or is there a slight dent in it?

im mainly interested in the fenders, bumper cover, and header panel. are the bottom of the fenders in good condition?
