  1. Haven't started this one back up yet. I'll post pics here on any progress. Been busy with work and such.
  2. PM'd you regarding the new airdam. Thank you!
  3. Fellow Questers, I need the horn button hardware, the plastic clips, screws and springs. I have an eclipse steering wheel I will trade for the clips. Anyone interested? Thank you.
  4. This has become the most frustrating thing I have ever attempted to accomplish.
  5. I'm interested in the steering wheel. Is it black?
  6. So, I've been looking into building my own set. Autozone is carrying a line of hood struts. Finding the right one is somewhat of a challenge. The minimum I can purchase the struts are $50 for the pair. Fabricating the brackets and such would set me back another $10 or so. To pay $100 for a kit that works and is already made is a pretty fair price. I'm still going to fabricate my own. I just enjoy doing the work. I just thought I'd put in my dollars worth.
  7. Posted the last photo of my first quest for my profile. Kept it for 9 years after two engine rebuilds. Sold it in 2003. I have a new baby now and it's going to be a screamer.
  8. I haven't tackled them since they tackled me. It's been too cold to get out in the garage. I'll try again next week. I'll post some pics of the devastation.
  9. Ok, Lessons learned. Acrylic, easier to heat and bend vs. Lexan. Acrylic is brittle so, not suitable for a lens application which will endure impacts such as a fog lamp. Lexan remains flexible. Heating this material is a challenge. It heats and shapes once, difficult to reheat and reshape. Molding Temps Acrylic Lexan Oven temperature 275 315 Helpful tip, leave in the oven @ 120 - 150 degrees for at least 30 minutes to remove the moisture in the panels. Otherwise you will create steam bubbles. This is based on my experience and after $100 in materials. Any additional tips would be very helpful.
  10. And I wondered why this car is so heavy.
  11. Do you still have the D/S taillights?
  12. Could use a mint replacement please. Please e-mail me at shermanr57@yahoo.com. Thank you.
  13. If you have a donor car, great, use the quarter panel. If you have some metal working skills, I don't see why you wouldn't use the front fender. You can ship those and the flares basic shape is already there. Just my two cents.
  14. There has to be a bad or missing plug. I had the same issue on another vehicle after driving over 30 mins. in the rain.
  15. I'm working on a vacuum forming setup to create the lexan lenses. Burton - I've confirmed everything you said. I purchased an additional set and though it looked "better" as if the lenses were cleaner, the reflectors were in excellent shape. The set I had exhibited the conditions you mentioned, corrosion had it's way with them. Lenses from both looked identical, chipped beyond reconditioning. Any hints on what will work as a replacement adhesive besides silicone?
  16. Just for clarification, Indiana. Were Justpaus' lenses plastic as well? The factory fog lenses I have are tempered glass. The turn signal lenses are plastic. Thank you, in advance.
  17. Trying to find clean fog assembly lenses are tough. I remember seeing photos of a clear lens. Can anyone tell me where I can get a set? Do they even exist?
  18. Hello David. Do you have any black 1988-89 model seats? Also, I'm looking for the Auto down 89 window switches.
  19. I have a 88 model and someone switched the seats. Anyone want to trade?
