  1. It's a STEAL for anyone that wants one!! No rust, straight body, initerior in good shape ( no cracks in dash). Fresh engine. Somebody come get this please!
  2. Price has been dropped to $1900. This does not include the struts and springs. On craigslist houston.
  3. PRICE DROP !!!!!!!!!!!!! $2500 takes it all. Come get it! :eek1bluegreen: :eek1bluegreen:
  4. So I guess that means I need to find the leak, right? And make sure I have the right kind of fluid in there, correct?
  5. That's hilarious!!! That made my day a little better :hmm3grin2orange:
  6. What would cause my power steering fluid to be forced back out of the top of the reservoir? It just gushes out from under the cap and I obviously have no power steering. I've never seen a car do this before. What do I need to fix or replace now?
  7. Looking for a good center link for my 88 Star,
  8. Still looking for a good home.
  9. It just seems to miss and sputter around 3500-4000rpms. Pulls pretty good up to that point. I need to get the manifold taken care of and re-verify the timing, then see whats up. It could be the vaccuum advance also. I need to check that too. And of course the engine has a modified intake manifold and it's possible I have the vaccuum line for the advance hooked up wrong. I'll have to switch that and see if that helps.
  10. Would the fact that I'm missing two exhaust manifold bolts affect how things are running? It only seems to have a problem in the higher rpm's.
  11. I'm cool. I didn't think anyone was calling me stupid. I was just clarifying the situation. Anyway, timing was a big part of it. I re-adjusted it and it runs alot better. I know the engine is not the problem, so it's got to be sensors and other adjustments along that line. Still cuts up alittle on the top (above 3500-4000 rpm). Almost feels like the vaccuum advance might not be working correctly. That's why I think vaccuum is an issue somewhere. That and I have an exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold. Don't know why or how, but I'm missing bolts. Either way she's on the road to recovery and will probably be sold after I get the Gremlins out.
  12. New engine. Not rebuilt. Whatever the problem is,... it's something stupid (does not include me ). Timing, wiring, TPS, O2 sensor, injector. Car ran fine with old engine in it. It's a Starquest!!! I should have known.
  13. I'll check it this week. I appreciate the help and advice. I really don't want to get rid of the car, but it's such a pain in the %$#@!!! By the way, I tried reversing the injectors and it did the exact same thing, I thought that was odd.
  14. Dropped in new engine. Idles great and rev's OK, but as soon as you put it in gear and try to drive it, it stalls & sputters and just will not run right. I have no idea what the problem is. Once you get it going, it will cruise along ok until you give it a little extra gas. The boost gauge wraps up quickly and can't be right because there is no acceleration to match what the gauge is doing. Any ideas????? Injectors, sensors, vaccuum lines? HELP!!!!
  15. :eek1bluegreen: PRICE DROP!!!!! First $300 gets it ALL!! Pick it up or arrange shipping!! Will add pictures tomorrow.
  16. Ok. I really want this stuff out of my garage . I originally said "pick-up only," but if whoever wants this stuff can arrange the shipping I will do what I can on this end. Obviously the buyer would pay the shipping cost. So who wants it now????
