  1. Alright thanks guys, appreciate the info. In the past the banks have just basically done alot of faxing and the $$ was wired and it went smooth that way, just wasn't sure how to handle this situation. I can't see someone paying that kind of cash and then having to wait 10 days (bank told us it would take that long) for the title to arrive before they can drive it. I'll give the bank a ring.
  2. When someone buys a vehicle from you outright and you still owe the bank on it. Most of the time people wire the $ to your bank and it is handled that way, I'm familiar with going down that road and how it works. What if you've got a person offering cash? Can they just drive off in it the day they pay you cash yet you haven't even payed off the note on it at the bank yet? What if they blow something up on the way home? There is nothing official about it to cover my rear. The reason I ask is we're selling our Jeep and I've got a few people offering the payoff on it in cash. So I'm wondering if joe bob shows up, drives it, and likes it if he can pay cash $ then drive off. My problem with it is he pays in cash and the title is still at my bank, what do I need to do on my part?
  3. That is awesome, nice catch!! Yes those things get huge, there have been some monsters caught out of the Trinity River which is near me. Many people like to bow fish for them, have heard it is a lot of fun.
  4. Good info, thanks. Yes I'll just keep my eyes peeled for a good deal on a projector, didn't really put much thought into the bulbs, that would really suck.
  5. Ok so I came across a nice projector screen for next to nothing, so I figured I would look into getting ahold of a projector and hook my xbox 360 up to it in another room, eventually add a little surround sound, etc. etc. I've brought my 360 up to school before and played it on the projector setup and loved it. What all do I need other then the screen I've already got? Obviously a projector but I don't know what to look for, it just needs to be good enough to give me a nice "gaming experience".
  6. Black Light, not a bad idea, may have to look into that
  7. That is a cool room, would be an awesome kid's room! They did a very good job on it. I just got my Breakfast Club poster in yesterday, LOL. Also, I found a buddy who told me he has 2-3 nintendos laying around so hopefully he digs one up for me.
  8. LOL it's a deal! Thanks for the tip mstieg but I got to go vintage, lol. I told my wife I want it to look like you actually walked right back into the 80's when you are in the room. I'm going to check Game Stop, I'm pretty sure we have one in the mall.
  9. Gyromite, WOW, brought back some memories, I had to go google it just to see some pics! http://www.bermuda.ch/balduin/blog/gyromite.jpg Oh and here is a cool site that you can play a ton of Nintendo games on: http://www.nintendo8.com/
  10. The very few things that I got going so far: http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n104/txvan33/DSC01860.jpg http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n104/txvan33/DSC01857.jpg http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n104/txvan33/DSC01856.jpg http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n104/txvan33/DSC01855.jpg
  11. Pretty darn sweet Car6on. I appreciate you checking on that Ekstatixx. Thanks for all the feedback, I checked craigslist and it's a no go in East,Tx. not to mention we don't have any gaming stores worth a flip in the area. I like alot of the sports games from back then, I still remember when my little brother was 7 years old and he took Tyson down on Punch Out before any of us, kids from around the neighborhood would gather around just to watch, lol. I will post a pic up later, it's in the very early stages as we just moved in here a few months ago but it's getting there.
  12. The original Nintendo, you know, duck hunt/Mario Bros. We're making one of our rooms (guest room) in our new house an "80's" room, themed out with 80's stuff and I've got quite a few nintendo games but no console/controllers/etc. It's coming along pretty good, got the big hair band posters here and there as well as some 80's movie posters, garbage pale kids cards on the dresser, transformer pillows on the bed, He-Man lunch kit on stand by. My wife wanted to kill me at first but now she's starting to think it's pretty cool. I've gotten most of the items off of e-bay but I thought one of you may have a nintendo setting around collecting dust, if it works and you'd like to get rid of it message me and let me know how much. http://www.beau-coup.com/Images/nintendo-nes-box.jpg
  13. Well, I multi-cycled the key to the on-off position about 5 times then turned it over, it started much, much easier, I'm thinking it's definitely the fuel pump. Time to run it low on gas and drop the tank. Thanks for all of the help.
  14. Will do shelby, thanks for the advice I appreciate it, need to get this taken care of so I can get rid of it and buy the wife something more economical.
  15. I sprayed all the hoses while it was running to check for an air leak and also pulled the AIC. It had carbon built up on it but nothing wd-40 and a light wire brush couldn't take care of. Cleaned it up real nice, made sure the piston in it was popping in and out just fine and installed, same thing. It may just be me but it seems if I pump the gas pedal 6-7 times before I attempt to start it then it will fire up quicker.
  16. LOL, yes I should say hello before just using everyone for their knowledge. I will have to check into this IAC then, yes there are no problems under load so that does sort of point away from the pump/strainer I suppose.
  17. Looking awesome John!! I knew you'd fix it up right, glad to see it has came so far and I'm glad you are really enjoying it.
  18. Well I suspected ignition at first so I put brand new spark plugs in it. I really feel like it's the pump or filter because of the way it runs rough after it initially starts then it smooths out, I think it may be a partially blocked strainer or dying pump, seems to be getting worse too. I'll have to go down to NAPA and check out that kit. Thanks.
  19. 98 Wrangler Sport 4.0L. Hard starting when it's set for a while, have to crank on it once, let off, crank on it again, sometimes 3 times, and then when it start it stumbles around then the idle smoothes out. Only does this when it's set up for a while. I'm assuming it's surely the fuel pump or filter. From what I've learned the pump/strainers are all in the tank. I've looked up fuel pump assemblies and there are about 50 options. Anyone ever replace it before, if so what did you use? They range from a pump with strainers for $120 to a complete "module" and strainer for $260.
  20. Josh is a good guy, I've met him and both cars are white 87's, he dumped alot of money into the motor on one of the cars but just can't get it to run right, cuts out/bogs down pretty bad around 7psi, would make someone a good project.
  21. What's up man!? We're both good, I'll pm you and let ya know what's up 8)
  22. I've seen that car in person and it has alot of potential, someone needs to pick this one up.
