  1. yes! all good info. I can easily do a finned diff cover, the only problem is that the exhaust runs right under it, I do have to wrap the exhaust and or some sort of heat shield...but i dont want the fins to get heat from the exhaust either. A seperate pump system might be in order... kinda wanted to get away without spending a f- load of money on this. That is very interesting Importwarrior, I didnt know they did that...
  2. So I'm finding a weak point in the car (finally) With 500hp and 315s, the diff and axles arent taking the heat very well on the road course. Does anyone have any experience with diff coolers, or any other ideas to help keep things cool? I can only get a few laps in before things heat up and it needs to be addressed. Ideas?
  3. Happy birthday, John, an many more! Since you mentioned racing, how'd you do last month? an how's your "crew-chief" doing? waitin for updates.

Thanks man. I did really well, took 1st in design and engineering, 3rd on the road course, 4th in speed stop and auto x. Car ran well, but still got some issues to work out. The crew chief is doing great thanks! Getting close now, only a few months away!

Happy belated. Roast a set of BFG's to celebrate!

haha thanks man. Got hooked up with Falken Tires now! No more BFG's for me!

  4. If you can accept advice, although your build is incredible, tube your front arches especially in the front section.

If you want this to be a drift car, you'll see i hope not too late, that you will not be able to run bigger tyres or wheels and you will not be able to increase your stering ancle without hitting almost everything....also use a big big hammer to avoid cutting (not that is a problem with the root you are going lol) the rear section of the front arches....the wheel will most certainly catch somewhere inside and surelly you will damage your tyrew if you dont hack the inner steel used to hold the plastic inner arch

    Just my 2 cents

I second that. You will need to tub the front.

  5.

That's your opinion and you're certainly entitled to it...although we traditionally don't try to put down fellow Starquest owners around here. I for one do everything I can to help keep these turds on the road, thus, I support anybody else that does the same. I'm also a big fan of the G54B, but props to those who make it happen outside the box. Let's keep in mind that there's a single Starquest owner out there that has been published more times than all the rest of us combined, carries corporate sponsorhsips that the rest of us would kill to have, and has done more than anyone to keep our cars from being a fleeting memory from the hair-band era. These are facts...not opinion. His profile name is Convette...and I'm trying to remember what kind of blasphemic motor he's running...oh that's right...it's an LS.

Yes I do. Full stand alone, tuned pcm, only what you need. Most wires are labled, other are self explainttory or not needed. The buyer backed out. Looking for $600 shipped on that.
