Ill be there plus one me my girlfriend have been looking forward to this all year................I will be without car unfortantly the rb is just laying in her ( i would drag her down there but i haven't made the mounts yet) Everyone on the forum seems really nice and i hope to meet everyone.. A couple years ago i built a race car and spent an butt load of money on it (something like 60,000) and i ordered the race motor so i could pick it up during the dsm shoot out, so i showed up in a dodge dakota to pick up 10,400 dollars worth of parts from buschur and most ppl at the event wouldn't speak to me because i wasn't in a dsm and that really hurt.... I was a serious dsm guy for over 15 years and built some pretty fast cars and all i wanted to do was talk cars with other ppl who shared the same passion as me. That alone left a bad taste in my mouth for the last couple years about joining forums or going to events . I have owned my quest for the last 4 years and have only driven it like 1000 miles ( i had a engine fire 2 weeks after i bought it and after getting everything put back on it the shaft on my waste gate broke under heavy acceleration and i overboosted and lost the motor)....The reason i'm writing this is to let everyone know that i want to meet and talk to each and eveyone of you guys and learn as much about these cars and the ppl that drive them!!!! I dunno anyone personally on the forum and i would especially love to meet some of the engine swap guys! Ill be driving a black 03 tahoe so when u see me around my name is Chad again I can't wait to meet everyone and I hope to make lots of friends!!

i have a whole engine and tranny i would like to get to a good home the tranny is perfect and shifted great when i took it out the engine is seized and won't turn over the head is the second casting so .......both for 100 bucks and everything that we could leave on the motor and take it out is still there so the tb and everything is still bolted up i'm doing a swap in mine so if there is anyother motor parts you need that i won't be using let me know...i live in kentucky so pick up would be nice

any pics of starions with those tires on .... i would like to see what the slicks/et look like on the car i plan on lowering the car some so i want an idea of how wide i can go

Hello all my name is Chad and i live in eastern ky and i'm currently swapping a rb25det into a 1987 black/black quest ill have pictures of the progress soon as we just got started on the project and it is going kinda slow as of right now .... I have a couple questions about these cars this is my first quest and as much as i love the car i don't know much about it...Has anyone put a set of mickey thompson 26/10.5/16 ets on one of these cars (how did they fit?) pics? the other question I have is if i were to order a set of drag lites for one of these cars what would i ask for? so far i have bought the following items for the car: greddy intake mani with q45 t/b top fed fuel rail with venom 800 cc inj top mount tubular ex mani with t70 turbo greddy oil filter relocation kit xs front mount i/c kit koyo radiator FAL dual fan kit tial gate and bov rear mount battery kit aeromotive inline fuel pump (good for 1000hp ) as the parts get ordered and the work gets done ill repost on the project when i get the car in a good running condition i plan on doing a tomei 2.8 stroke and some there pon cams with a turbonetics gt series turbo just wanted to thank you guys for supplying me with so much info on these cars and i feel if not for this forum i would not appreciate these cars as much as i already do ..................
