  1. Once again, I'm flexibleon the price. Feel free to make me a reasonable offer. Mike
  2. $185 Shipped. I'm flexible on the price. I want to be reasonable. Just to specify, it's just the hatch louver, not the sides. It's the factory aluminum louver with all of the mounting brackets. Also, it has a fresh coat of paint. E-mail me if interested or would like pics. Thanks, Mike
  3. Glenn, They shouldn't interfer with your camber plates if the studs to your shock towers are still located in the stock location. What kind of camber kit do you have? Who makes it? To be sure if it will clear I would take a look at the pictures that I put on the post so you can see how the bars are mounted to the shock towers. And shipping to your zip will be $13. However, to be safe on the safe side, before you send payment let's make sure that the bars will work with your camber plates. Thanks! Mike
  4. Correct... Just make it out to either Shawn or me and the address listed above is the address to ship too. And normal carrier is just fine. Also, we'll need your zip code to calculate shipping costs. Actually, we'll need your whole address for shipping... You could PM me with that. Thanks, Mike
  5. I just wanted to update everyone. Shawn's been pretty good at keeping on top of things here. =) Ok, Shawn and I are going to open a few more spots. We had wanted to keep the GP number small because it takes a while to make these bars. However, we've gotten a lot more interest than I had anticipted. So, we're going to open a few more spots. What we're going to do is make the first five buyers first priority. Then once we get the first 5 buyers bars out we'll start on the second set of the group purchase. Please let either Shawn or I know if you'd like to be added to the list. We're going to ship in the order that the payments come in. If you have any question please let us know. HotrodTSi - We got your payment. Thank you. DanMitsu - We can add you to the list if you'd like. Kreal - We can add you to the list if you'd like. Just let us know. Oscar - Â I'm glad your set reached you ok and I'm happy that you like them! Let us know when you get them installed. Also, I pm'ed a few of you.... Well, I think that's about all! Thanks again everyone! Mike

  7. Yup, that's the bar we made.... Thanks, I'm glad you like it. Yeah, it should clear a MPI settup. It will clear the Magna MPI settup. We designed it to clear everything and bolt up without having to fab or mod anything on the car. It would even clear the  EGR valve... I was surprise at the difference that it made. I didn't think that it would make much of a difference. It did. Like Shawn said, the front end doesn't push in hard corners anymore. The front tires just bite. It's nice. And into and out of the turns, the car feels solid and predictable. When I took it off I really noticed a difference. Without it, you can feel the twisting in the frame. And without it you can feel the car kind of snap or spring out of the turns. I'm anxious to get the final version made and to get the rear strut-bar made. I heard rear bars make a huge difference. Mike
  8. I also did some business with JAinsworth. I bought an 88-89 flywheel from him last Nov. He gave it to me for an exceptional price. I would've been stupid to say no to that price! I sent him the money and he sent the flywheel with no delay and kept me posted with a tracking #. I would definately recommend doing business with him. He is a great person to do business with as well as a really great person in general.... He is friendly and helpful... Thanks, Jimmy... Mike F.
  9. Yeah the solenoids work great, no problems. That's what you get in a kit. The solenoids unlatch the door all the way and then you can just grab them. I don't have the 25 lbs spring loaded poppers to push open the doors and it still works fine.
  10. Can't remember my log-on for my Esi-type? account, so gotta use my brothers. Here are some pictures of my shaved handles. I can't wait to see them painted. I used my keyless entry and wired it to charge the solenoids. I got the solenoids for summit for $25 a piece. This one is a picture of were I mounted the solenoid in the door. http://mywebpage.netscape.com/TickleMeFuzzy/starion/poper_1.jpg This one is from the inside of the door. If you trace the black cable up to the silver part, that's where I connected the cable. I had to cut the rod out that was pulled down when door handle was used. That's where the cable was hooked up to http://mywebpage.netscape.com/TickleMeFuzzy/starion/popper_2.jpg This is a pic of the mounting screws from the outside of the door. I used the existing hole and drilled a new one. http://mywebpage.netscape.com/TickleMeFuzzy/starion/outside_shvd.jpg This is a pic from tonight.....that's fresh primer on the door. http://mywebpage.netscape.com/TickleMeFuzzy/starion/shvd_1.jpg Her it sits in the warehouse. http://mywebpage.netscape.com/TickleMeFuzzy/starion/shvd_2.jpg The car is going to be pained black, but is originally red.
