  2. Like the title says. I need a known good vacuum advance that will work on an 88. Please let me know price shipped to 10305. Thanks
  3. The car's worth what you're willing to pay for it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've owned 4 of these vehicles and everytime I've sold one it took a part of my heart with it. There's no checking the blue book on these cars because there's too much sentiment behind em. Location is another thing. It's a pain in the butt to find one in Texas but go to New York and there's a good selection. Then you're asking guys on this forum what's it worth. In my experience, not many people on this forum are willing to pay what "normal" people would. They think they know too much, to be "suckered", and they may be right. But hey, all 3 people I've sold the car's too at $3K were extremely happy with there truly unique purchase and not one car had the work or looked as good as the one you're about to buy. Good luck and enjoy your new wife.

  5. 1988 Chrysler Conquest 125,000 miles. Manual Transmission, great clutch. It has upgraded 2.5" exhaust from turbo back, New non-jet valve head with performance head gasket and ARP head bolts. Upgraded 1G turbo MAF w/ K&N filter, upgraded hard pipes w/ BOV, MSD Blaster coil. 12A Turbo is in great condition w/ no shaft play at all. Also has Griffin radiator with electric fan. No a/c. The car boosts hard and is in great running condition. New paint job. Good tires. Clean title in hand. Check out the link. My friend took my cam so right now all I have is 3MP pictures. Will be getting better pics soon. Asking $3000 http://newyork.craigslist.org/stn/cto/2112725955.html
  6. This car would've been gone 2 years ago. This economy blows.....
  7. Thanks guys. Found one...Zack hooked it up for $30. Cant beat that!
  8. Yea, I've checked out that site before. Its hard to justify spending $450 on one piece of a car when I payed $550 for an 88 quest in great running condition, with a number of upgrades. I knew how hard it was gonna be to find one when I bought the car though. I'm almost at the point of taking my friends to make a mold, duplicate it and sell it at a fair price $200-250. The air dam doesn't have to be in great condition. It can be torn in three pieces and I can easily fab it up like new.
  9. I'm in staten island, ny 10305 and need a front air dam for a widebody. Please let me know if you have one and price shipped, or I can pick up if close. Thanks!
  10. http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/1295914199.html check out the pics there...
  11. Sorry, only trades I would consider would be a good 4 cyl toyota or honda w/ cold A/C, reached 104 here yesterday, plus $2000 on top of that, depending on the car.
  12. OK, I don't want to do this but I have to. I've been laid off and my baby needs to go. Price is $3000. Its a 1988 Chrysler Conquest same as Mitsubishi Starion. 115,000 miles, 5 spd, with registration and inspection good until 4/2010. It has 9" rear shp wheels with 7" front wheels, tires are almost brand new all around. It has a super 16g turbo (550 CFM compared to stock 12A w/ 330 CFM). Hard OVCP with Turbo XS RFL BOV. It has trilogy turbo injectors, the secondary should be cleaned. It has auto meter boost and oil pressure gauges as well. The car has two rear 6.5" MB Qaurts, 2 front 5.25 Blaupunkt speakers, and a pioneer cd reciaever. She runs and drives very well. What will need some attention is the secondary injector, it sputters at wide open throttle (cleaning is $26), rear brake pads and possibly left rear rotor, ball joints sometimes clunk over speed bumps. Interior is pretty good in my opinion for these cars (ive owned 3) normal rips and tears, leather. A/C needs a line replaced. Paint is in pretty good condition, there are some chips in front bumper, air damn is there with some cracks and tears but still very good (for anyone who knows these cars). Also have a spare 88 flywheel for someone wanting to shave some pounds off. No pics right now.
  13. Looks like your trying to rice the car. Doesn't make any sense to me but whatever floats your boat. If you want to butcher a car you should've bought a civic.
