RacerX3254
Went to replace the 3rd brake light bulb on my wife's car and found this spliced into the wiring of that brake light. Any idea what it may be? http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w158/pettyjason/DSC00277.jpg
Burton
I'm assuming you're talking about the 3rd brake light on the spoiler, which appears to be an add on since it also has the 3rd brake light in the back window. That box is probably just some sort of relay or junction box for wiring in the aftermarket spoiler.
RacerX3254
It is the light in the rear window. I originally thought it may have something to do with a spoiler, but the car was purchased new and has never had an aftermarket or OEM spoiler on it. Komeuppance
He's written "Non-SQ" in the title. So he must mean a different model of car. Are only three wires that have connection to the car?? -Robert
Burton
Oh, see I saw the Acura in the pic at the bottom which apparently is his sig, so I assumed that was the car. Can you tell us what kind on car it is?
RacerX3254
Sorry, guess I should have added that part. It is a 99 Civic.
