Bmore410_TSI
I dont think replacing it is going to stop the button from popping off. There doesnt appear to be anything wrong with the button. I need to know whats causing it to pop off so I can address it.
vbrad511
The switch is physically broken. It'll all one unit. You'll have to replace it.
Ernie88TSi
There is a little tab that breaks off. If you take apart the switch (like you're going to clean the contacts) you'll see the pieces of that tab still there. I've plastic welded a few of them back together without issue. It's a bit of effort to do it though, because you've got to smooth that tab back so it'll slide correctly (one you're in there, you'll see what I'm describing). Edde
Do NOT switch off the lights with the window open. I had to chase my parts 3 times before I learned. You can sometimes keep it from getting out of hand by keeping a finger on the button that wants to fly. Edited August 20, 2009 by Edde
