88TSI_Rob
I just spent the past day and half trying to diagnosis an electrical issue on my truck that was making it almost impossible to start. Turns out it's the 2 month old MSD Blaster 2 coil. Swapped back the old coil and it runs like a champ. A couple years ago I had another Blaster 2 coil that was DOA. So that's 2 bad coils from MSD, I'm done with them. So what do you guys suggest for a reliable ignition coil? Mallory, Jacobs, Accel, Pertronix, Crane, other? on3 racing
mallary makes a nice one, i have had good luck with accel as well a year or so back i took every msd product off all my car and go to great lengthen to let everyone know how crappy their product are. it seems if it is an old piece it is great but if it was made in the last 5 or so years it is junk! i went through 4 coils, and 3 sets of 90.00 wires on my mustang in 4000 miles!
