ptracy26
Want to say Thanks! to Ernie for helping me get my Tsi in a better place. Ernie and I were pm'ing for a couple of months and finally had a chance to meet him. He stated he could help me out, well I took him up on the offer. He came to my house we bs for a couple of hours then he was off with my car and a couple of bucks. Didn't know if I was going to see him again, but he left his Mistu GSR(?) so I had faith that he would return. lol - srry ernie. Here's what he did: Replaced Fuel Injectors Rewired Most of the Cars Dash/items, engine/items New MK1 Dash Display (cool) Replaced Clutch Flywheel (competition clutch flywheel package 6puck/15lbs steel flywheel) Replaced Raditor (jolyrgr v8 racing rad from gp offer) Fixed my door locks Fixed my AC - hasn't worked in 12years (cool) Fixed my Radio Addressed any plumbing/vaccum and electrical gremlins I had. Torque tube n U joints updated cleaned relays and fuseable links (other? - I let Ernie reply if I missed anything) I drove the car last night and its running so smooth and pulling hard. He thinks there's a little more left on the table to address the cars performance but we'll get there. Next: Equal Lgth Tub header and 20g turbo going in (in box at house) M7 head(needs to be race prepped etc...) Suspension tuning Engine Dyno Thanks Ernie, even if he's an admin he's ok by me!!!!! Ernie88TSi
Thanks for the kind words. It probably would've been a bit more simple to list what I didn't do. Also did timing/balance shaft chains, diagnosed a bad Mass Air Flow Sensor, bad coil wire, and, ummm, I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple things as well. lol Oh, and it's a Galant GSX. It was fun being able to mess around with your car, it looks, handles, and runs great.
