psu_Crash Posted February 25, 2009 Report Share Posted February 25, 2009 Well it's finally nice enough out there to really go for a ride and see if all the winter work has paid off. O yeah ... it has! The car has much better throttle response with EDIS all installed just feels more snappy and revs nice! Also the first real run since changing the head gasket, doing a half dozen heat cyles and retorque of the head studs. Kept boost to 14psi just to be safe. Came back pulled the plugs, they look great! Did a compression test and all 4 are within 2 psi of each other at 140! Another nice day forcast for tomorrow so time to start getting her all cleaned up and tie up a few loose ends, like put the right intake gasket on there to hopefully eliminate the oil leak I am getting from it. Ordered a few magna gaskets from australia a while back and it's just been too damn cold to do it! Also going to tackle the steering coupler and get that replaced. Should be an eventful day!
