bootsoldja Posted January 5, 2009 Report Share Posted January 5, 2009 i have an 88 auto. it idles and revs fine but when i drive it it want sto stutter when im in drive but if i put it in second or 1st it runs fine??? vaccum advance seems week could it be something to do with auto tranny overdrive ???? ESTurbo4 Posted January 5, 2009 Report Share Posted January 5, 2009 Check for vacuum leaks. There a vacuum line for the tranny close to the fire wall near the ports for the heater core.
