Richie_Rich Posted June 11, 2002 Report Share Posted June 11, 2002 I went to a local exhaust shop for prices on a full 2 1/2" exhaust on my '86TSI. He said that he could not attach to the pre-cat because it is set up with a 2" flange. I will buy a 2 1/2" downpipe for "Off-Road". but need the pre-cat for emission inspection. Is this exhaust shop full of crap or should I just get a cat back system and then get the downpipe with an extension to get to the new cat?
