I hate to do it but here goes... I have been in the process of rebuilding the motor/tranny since early last year with the intentions of seeing low 10 sec or possibly high 9 sec time slips. However, my family and I are getting ready to sell our home and move into something larger. So it was time to make the necessary cuts...and this, unfortunatley, was on the top of the list. Thus far, I am confident that I have dumped somewhere in the neighborhood of $15,000 into this project easy. I actually have a file folder at home that contains all the receipts etc... Here are some of the specs:

Block: 2.3 Built by Polk Performance in AR.

100mm Eagle Forged Stroker Crank, Eagle H-Beam Rods, Wiseco Stroker 8:8:1 Pistons .030, ACL Race Bearings, Metal HG Fully Balanced and Blue Printed.

Head: Stage 4 Race Prepped and O-Ringed by Polk Performance (Initial Talks were with Don but carried over to David)

BC 280 Cams, BC Ti Retainers & Springs, Ferrea 1mm OS SS Valves, Fidanza Cam Gears...Have about $2400 into the head alone.

Transmission: Rebuilt by DSR (Rocky):

All new gears, forks etc, double synchros welded center diff,...this thing was built to handle the abuse, Fidanza Flywheel, custom built 2925lb clutch built by Clutch Specialties.

Turbo is a PT67 with the H Cover (3" outlet) with .84 AR and VBand outlet. This will take this car well into the 10s or faster.

DNP T4 Exh Manifold, Tial WG w/ vband flanges, Custom 3" VB DP

Suspension: AGX shocks, Ground Control Adj. Suspension, 3000GT Cross drilled/slotted rotors, upgraded dual piston calipers, Goodrich SS brake Lines, 17" Rims (forgot the brand) 17" Michellin Pilot Sport Tires...

The car has been pretty much gutted. I removed somewhere around 4-500lbs. If you prefer full interior I think I may have some of the stuff but doubt I have all of it.

Some other stuff off the top of my head...( I know I will forget some stuff)

Magnus SMIM, JR Fab FMIC w/ short route piping, Maft translator, DSM Link, (I am including a Dell Latitude Laptop), AEM WB, AEM Tru boost, 1000CC Injectors, Bosch 044 Pump (inline) fed by intank Walbro 255 HP, Coil on Plug, all new timing components, new water pump, new oil pump, Kevlar T-belt, new motor mounts, and a bunch more. Anyone seriously interested is welcome to come by and take a look. I dont have full exhaust as my intention was never to drive on the street. But you are welcome to crank it and drive it down the street and back. Compression is perfect at 190psi each. 95% of these components dont have a single mile on them yet. The only thing I was missing was a trailor. Here are some pics...

Here is vid of it running...I think this was either the first or second start up of the finished motor.

IMO, motor is broken in. I have changed the oil three times already. Like I said, there is alot more to it. You will have to come by and take a look for yourself. Car has a clean title. My asking price is $7,500.00 I have more then $5500 into the long block alone...and somewhere around 1900-2000 into the turbo/manny/wastegate set up. Another thing, car has a 3-bolt rear now, but I have a perfect 4-bolt sitting in the corner of the garage that will be included. I am not interested in parting it out at the moment.

I know I missed a bunch of stuff. If you are interested or want to come by call me at 210.323.9687 ask for Tony. Please only if you are seriously interested. If you have questions call or email me at mindcrimeracing@yahoo.com

I also want to thank those that helped me with this project...mostly DSR, and Turbo Rick.

I never got that far. I got it running...then I just got busy with other things and now I need to sell it. When going over the build with Polk, talks consisted of a 650-700HP motor with the capability to run nitrous. I figured I'd only need about 500HP or so to reach my goals but wanted the capability to go faster if needed. Edited by jtmuncher
