boostandmuscle
ive got 3.90s in my car.. for an automatic i would suggest it.. for a manual that gets driven on the hwy alot i wouldnt suggest it.. My cars a damn gas hog.. cruising at 65-70ish im usualy around 3500rpm in 5th.. its great for accells out of the whole though
jd_stazza_brendan
In Australia the last model Starion came with 3.909 ratio, Rest were 3.545 Ive got both. I prefer the 3.9 over the 3.5. Its nice around town, feels faster then the 3.5. 3.5 would be best if you do mainly highway driving though.

FlattopMike
It doesn't have anything to do with your question. Your writing style just seemed familiar to me.

Tack or speedo could be off. Best way to check ratio is jack up car with trans in neutral. Rotate rear wheels one revolution, with lsd they should turn together. If drive shaft turns 3.54 times it's a 3.54. 3.9 times its a 3.90. Do it a couple of times. It's enough of a difference between the two that it"s pretty easy to tell this way.
