Too Deep
I have an 88 6 bolt rear in my shed. I would rather go through that torque tube and just swap it on to my 86 4bolt rear. Anyone know if they are a direct swap? Edited April 16, 2008 by Too Deep
AndyW
As long as they are both widebodies yes, they are the same. (the flatties are longer FYI)

Shelby
the diff is are they both LSD,, or non-lsd,, all yrs LSD are the same,, all yrs non -lsd are the same lsd shafts are 1 inch shorter then the non-lsd shafts ,, makes no diff about the number of axle bolts ,, only lsd or not besides the yoke splines are diff on each so they would not fit any way.. one is larger then the other Edited April 16, 2008 by Shelby
