IntercooledFlatty Posted April 14, 2008 Report Share Posted April 14, 2008 please forgive my lack of knowledge here, but can you hook the fuel pump to a direct power sorce and switch it on and off? wouldn't that eliminate any fuel cut by the ecu? the only concern is an accident and the fuel pump constantly running? i'm interested in hooking up the tb set up from the 88 to the 85.5. should i just do the rewire trick on the 85.5 ecu? thanx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Too Deep Posted April 14, 2008 Report Share Posted April 14, 2008 Some will say that it works. I tried it on my 86 and still had fuel cut. I grounded the pump and used a toggle switch for b+.
