Chad
yes, LED's can be dimmed with resistors. If you can, find out the current draw at 12V DC and I can tell you what size ressitors to use to dim them to 50%. You can also dim them with zenor diodes, but I'd have to look up the current draw on the Zenors to find one that is appropriate for that aplication. Burton
It also says it has the wiring with it for dimming applications, so that would lead me to believe that it comes with what you need right out of the box. Now, if it comes with instructions.... or at least ones in English LOL
Alcyone
it looked that way to me as well. I was just kind of wondering how they did that.. I don't really need a casing. If I can make them dim by using a resistor on another wire on one lead I can just put a circle of 12 volts int he lights.. these would be cheaper thana bunch of 12 volts.. and they come in amber too for the outer corner. so I'd have red tails/brake lights center and amber turns on the out side.. and cheaply too. this same place has 4 inch red led sets in a crlear lense. these are very sexy. but of course, more expensive. thanks guys! 4g63Starion
Yikes, is that legal to be that dim, or is it brighter in person?
