ekstatixx
Well as many of you know i bought a mpi car recently and have been going through it fixing misc issues. As im looking at the magna itself i notice i have 2 fprs in a line. Would there be any reason for this? would it affect the car? Also, FIP's ecu and megatune show my car is running 49% throttle at idle. then at WOT it show 238%. I quickly looked through the megatune program and didnt see where to adjust this. I also just printed out the mammoth MS Manual. I will start my reading. ANY IDEAS?>

Chad
You don't want dual FPR's, makes fuel pressure tuning/testing very difficult. If you want to eliminate the magna OEM FPR, that's pretty easy to do with some simple drilling and welding, and a few new hose connections. I can do that to this spare rail I have for you before I send it off.
ekstatixx
thanks guys. Chad, dont worry about messing with that fuel rail. ill keep the magna oem one on there for now and take off the other one. it looks almost like a stock magna one only 4 inches from the other. Ill look at it and mess with it from there. theres alot of questionable work done on this car. i have gone through it and fixed alot. but for a good laugh, check this out:http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c256/eks...nt=CIMG0103.flvvac lines run in bad areas, ugly connections, electrial taped wires, piping touching the coolant line. also, that pipe is crushed in badly on the bottom to allow the coolant line not to be crushed, which is a huge bottle neck. all these have been or will be fixed shortly!http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c256/ekstatixx/89%20MPI%20Starion/Picture126.jpghttp://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c256/ekstatixx/89%20MPI%20Starion/Picture128.jpghttp://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c256/ekstatixx/89%20MPI%20Starion/Picture127.jpghttp://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c256/ekstatixx/89%20MPI%20Starion/Picture125.jpg
