If you dont have money/time to spend/waste get the fuelinjpro ecu and make your own intake/ convert stock intake to mpi. bad2theBone Posted October 28, 2005 Author Report Share Posted October 28, 2005 Yes I have the Budget, but i want to put it in a good way to spend it, u know, at least i think i can buy the SDS 4F, and 2nd gen Head MAGNA (2) HEADS so i can keep 1 EXTRA just in case if anything happens, and i will get a Non Modify Magna Intake mpi to fit my Head Magna 2nd gen. n there goes my budget. lionbull Posted October 28, 2005 Report Share Posted October 28, 2005 Stay away from T.E.P whatever you do they just told me it cost 1500.oo to do a stock intake conversion with a turn around time of 3-4 weeks. can you believe that. bad2theBone Posted October 29, 2005 Author Report Share Posted October 29, 2005 THANKS, sure i will stay away from TEP performance, my friends tells me too, to stay away from them, they say the only thing they sell that we might need is the AIRDAM and thats all, but the rest of their parts its very EXPENSIVE, TOO MUCH DINERO $$$, thats why i dont even call them, samething with the EIP they are too expensive, i'm not paying over 800 bucks for their EIP MPI, its a very good design BIG PLENUM and SMALL SHORT RAILS, with the design of the injectors located on angle shotting thats a good COMBO, but i guess there is NO SPACE to keep the A/C compressor, unless u live in NY or NJ, or near up NORTH. I have a friend a mechanic he is real good with starions, he has done MPI not actually MPI conversion Intake, he has on his starion TBI with the stock 2 injectors but he put 2 More injectors with an EXTRA fuel Pump, on the back so he has 2 Fuel Pumps plus 2 Injectors on the TBI system, and stage 3 clutch, with stock flywheel weight, stock turbo, with blow off valve, and boost controller, that car its burning tire so GOOD, its stock BLOCK 2.6LITER very STOCK. and Head as well. its quite fast but don't know how he is running with 2 more injectors on the TBI system and Has one Extra Fuel Pump on the back giving fuel to those extra injectors on the TBI. bad2theBone Posted October 30, 2005 Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2005 YOKOMOSQUEST, NOT BAD, first i have to tell you, u have a cool car, u said u are about to do> another dyno run in Nov, w/ Copper gasket, 2nd gen ported magna, HyaBoosta cam, T-88 .75/.84 turbo. thats not a bad turbo size, looks real good to me, i been doing some reading about turbos not much but something basic, i'm sure reading its ok but having the experience its different, so i just want to tell you to let us all know how will come out the cars results. YokomosQUEST, i have seen one picture of your engine, u do have a Magna mpi intake from australia, and u are running with abigger turbo , its that 20G, T4, whats your size of turbo that u are running now,(.70/.83) or something near like that, are u running with TEC2, TEC3, Megasquirt 1 or 2 version OR SDS 4D,E,F type Management system, u still have all the interior inside the car, the stock seats, you haven't done any interior reduction. oh yeah YokomosQUEST, god u want to go more fast huh, like in the 10's 1/4 mile , but u said u need a roll cage, I REMEMBER I SAW in AUTOOPTIONS they have for sale the ROLL CAGE 4 points, 6 points or i think also they have the 8 points Roll Cage Complete.
