Kr0nus
Nice work man. Do you make any products for the Starion? I have a 15" sub that calls for 5 cubes of space in a sealed box. I have a big a** box that it's in right now, but I need something that fits a little better. Do you have any suggestions?
Turborusty
Dayum KrOnus, That's a big ayuss boss fo sho!!! I have an 18 that can run in as little as 3.5 cu.ft. Gonna try to keep the size of the box down a little. Maybe not 3.5 but maybe not as big as 5 either.... Turborusty
Kr0nus
Yeah man it's so big I had to have someone make me a custom hatch cover to fit over it! http://OklahomaSpeed.com/pics/409d.jpg It's freaking huge!
Turborusty
I'm either gonna make it to fit under the original hatch cover or incorporate a new one into the final design. I actually think I'll need a new one becase I think my sub will blow the stock one up in the air :P Turborusty
JustPaus_88TSi
Kr0nus, port that damn box! ;D 5ft^3 is a big box for a sealed setup.. I'd throw a 14x4 slot port in that sucker tuned to 32hz or so.. What kind of amp do you have pushing that?
Kr0nus
I like the way it sounds though man! I have a 1000 watt Kenwood amp powering the sub. So basically it's like 700 watts going to the sub. It sounds really good though IMO. I have to use a capacitor also so I can get enough continuous power to the sub. Here is a picture of my hatch cover (that’s not my car though). http://OklahomaSpeed.com/pics/MVC-890F.jpg You can try and ask ESRType? About making another cover like it. The quality is top freaking notch. It looks a lot better in person
emann420
Kr0nus, you could easily rebuild a new box to fit your hatch better. If you want plans or a box cut, broken down and shipped let me know. The only thing I've made so far has been the foglight covers. I haven't offered them for sale because other people have already made some and are selling them. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/emann421/det...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/emann421/det...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/emann421/det...jpg&.src=ph I am planing on making door pods, kick panels, blank center console pieces, and maybe a fiberglass overlay for the hatch area. Any extra time I've had has gone into getting my car running again. E-Mann
TsiRacer
How much for a box for two tens. Infinity perfects, so they dont need alot of room. I have them firing up at the window but would like a box that is rectangular and can be pushed against the rear seat firing the subs towards the rear lights. And yes I would like to see some plans on how to make a better box, kinda like yours. I'll let you know what I have later. It's 1 15" sub, 2 amps, 2 distro boxes, a farad cap and a s*** load of wireing I need to hide. The specifics will come later. I think you are sitting on a pot of gold with your skills man. -Rahsaan
Turborusty
Emann. I think KrOnus is right. If you offer door pods and kick pods, I'd buy both. Turborusty
Blk84quest
Wow and to think my greatest stereo accomplishment thus far was wiring in a speaker lol. GJ e-mann.
