Just got in from the garage. Got the fiberglass base shape formed. The resin is curing right now so by the time I wake up it should be all set up.

Basically the speaker mounting holes and the tweeter pockets are hot glued together and wired to a support frame. That assembly is then set in against the fiber matting and all of it coated in fiberglass resin. Once all the resin dries it will form a solid base shell.

Tomorrow or sunday I will lay all the fiber matting on the sides that are visible and and resin that all up. After that I can start puting on the duraglass filler and finish with bondo. I will probably be doing the filling next week and have them all ready for paint by next weekend.

I will get some pics up later once the resin is cured and I can take them out of the car.

Lookin good so far bro!  One little trick I learned with my old setup in my Z24, was that you can use a smaller Pod for more leg room...If you cut a circular hole in the back of the Pod, and let it vent into the carpet... Never know, it might not sound right with the ones you're making, but you can always cut the hole later... Maybe it'll help.....

well, here's how they are starting to look. I haven't worked on em much as my car is away having some work done.

I like having the car here to get em perfect.

Right now they look pretty rough, but they will be recieving a cople more  fiber coats before they get finish filler.
