Guest castmem
well ladies and gents, good news from anaheim california. I just went to Race Concepts in person and talked to the owner. After talking with him for a few minutes i got a new GP price.... it is now $180 for front and rear cross drilled and slotted rotors.... Now say you want the rotors sent to you, i believe shipping is like $35 extra..... not too shabby really. Hope this helps ya'll out. 714-547-3581 <--Race Concepts. Be sure to tell him you're from Starquestclub, he said he needs to be reminded every time for each order cause he won't remember. -Dustin ps, he said he wanted the orders to go through me but no offense, i don't wanna be responsible for other peoples orders, so please order on your own and if for some reason there's a problem, please send me a pm and i'll drop a line to him to straighten things out.. artinist
next time you swing by, see what kind of price he can give for braided steel brake lines.
Guest castmem
artinist, I don't have any further plans to stop at the shop any time soon being that they are roughly 65 miles away from me.... however, feel free to give them a call and ask! just be sure to mention the club name and i'm sure they can prolly swing a deal on them! -Dustin
ekstatixx
this sound great. does anyone know the size of these babies??? and does this guy know about our whacky bolt pattern problem?
kawika
I have these on my car. They work great. I also purchased the steel braided brake lines he offers. They are nice also. Good guy to deal with order showed up fast. I believe his name is wood. I paid 200.00 and well worth it. Wish I could have saved 20.00. Guest castmem
BTW, wood is no longer with the company. the deal was set up with another individual (believed to be the proprieter of the establishment). but the deal is still good :-D -dustin

88StarionESI-R
I just tried calling the 714 number, no one answered. Do they have slotted but not cross drilled rotors? Even if they're not slotted and just a rotor that won't warp as easily as the stock ones it'd be great.
Guest castmem
i believe they have whatever you want, slotted, drilled, both.... the number should still be good. perhaps they are closed for the day... who knows.... -Dustin
88StarionESI-R
Thanks. I'll try again tomorrow.
knightrider
88, they moved locations and got a new number in the process. The new number is 714-883-1759, and when I called I talked to Ben. Watch out, he talks fast with a heavy south-of-the-border accent. Ryan
88StarionESI-R
Thanks knightrider. Â The new number was good. Â He quoted me $85 for just the fronts. (slotted not cross drilled) Are these rotors better than stock at resisting warping?
88StarionESI-R
Hmm, rockauto has some $20 rotors. Just $40 for the front pair. Anyone tried these before? They're RAYBESTOS brand part# 8203
artinist
the $20 rotors are most likely made in china. stay away from those. raceconcepts has started putting stuff on ebay on regular bases. you can get the rotors for $75 there. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
88StarionESI-R
Thanks for the tip. I wish they weren't cross drilled. But I'll keep an eye on the listings before I drive up there.

artinist
brembos for that price is pretty cheap, but remember they dont come drilled or slotted. this place has them for $150 and charges another 50 for drilling http://www.performancerotors.com/product_i...products_id/
