Elias
the stock wattage is 35W but you can safely go to 55W--if you really want some light put in a set of 100w, but i don't recommend that unless you put in heavier guage wiring for the fog light harness
mquester
when mine stopped working (the day after I got it) I found that the ground wire where the light connects had corroded. all I had to to was take some sandpaper and clean the connection. Also, while you are there I suggest putting in a dual socket so that you can use the blinkers as parking lights also.
IGot6UGot4
Yes, this is an old thread, but being new, I had to put in my 2 cents. You can safely and easily go with high power fog lights (aftermarket kits) by adding a relay. Switch the relay with the stock power wire, and run as big of guage wire as you need from the battery to power it up. You may want to add an inline fuse, but that's purty easy, too. Hell, do it right and you can just use your fog lights w/o popping up the search lights. Jake
