Fantastic race...a finish that will be debated for years to come. In my eyes, the right call was made. Rossi was leading and had the line in the last chicane. It was a solid hard bump and push that cast Rossi to the gravel. What's interesting to me is...what would the call have been had Marquez's move caused Rossi to go off and lose?

The actual placing results aren't too big a surprise. Rossi has always done rather well at Assen...the course caters to his sweeping style. Marquez is finally showing his old form after last week's hybridization of the bike. Honda put the new engine in last year's chassis to help his riding style. Lorenzo place a healthy third even with some tire issues. The Ducatis had problems, as they usually do on such a track.
