88turboquest
Does anyone on here make the adapter plates for the mx6 intake I have no idea where to start to do it right
speedyquest
I would imagine its pretty easy to make. Off the top of my head engineering here but... a half inch plate with our heads hole pattern drilled into it and counter sunk and the mx-5s bolt pattern drilled into it also but counter sunk on the opposite side and tapped so the bolts (studs) you used would stay in place while torquing it down. Otherwise then its just a matter of drilling into the center of both sides runners, then using a gasket from each side you enlarge the holes and then smooth them out. Whammo! 383chevelle
I have had one cnced but the bolt pattern was slightly off. I think it will still bolt up but may need to have a whole or two elongated. I can post a picture and the solidworks file if anyone is interested. It has been awhile since I have messed with it since I purchased another intake that fits. I will try to find the files and post them. A few pictures are posted at the bottom of this thread.http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=137611&hl=383chevelle Edited June 16, 2015 by 383chevelle
