CarlosFley
Anyone interested in an LS1 in the bay area?http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/4569068710.html
383chevelle
My guess with out seeing the motor is that is actually a LQ4 or LQ9. LS1 was a 5.7L not a 6L. Still good motors but you should be able to pick one up at a junkyard for less then that.

LSQuest88
Yep most likely an iron block truck motor available at your local pick and pull. Depending on how many miles and what all comes with the motor it may or may not be a good deal. Good luck finding the original mileage though. Being it's an iron block though it can be built and handle more power than an aluminum block ls1. If you plan on pushing over 700 hp that is lol. He shouldve put LS based not LS1 Edited July 16, 2014 by LSQuest88
