techboy Posted April 18, 2014 Report Share Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) I have a mechanical head I took off my 88 about year and half ago. Was running just fine when I took it off. I had a fresh head built when I did my motor build, but I wouldn't hesitate to use this head again. The jet valves are still there, but they have been disconnected. Here's my F/S thread after I took it off ... it has some pics in it.
