john82wa Posted March 6, 2014 Report Share Posted March 6, 2014 (edited) So last year was the first year of the Awana races and it was my first attempt at creating/cutting the wooden race cars that they use in the races. Glad to report the first year, both of my girls got 2nd and 3rd place. Will post an update after she's got some color. My son painted it "Lightning McQueen" theme. Looked great. My daughters worm shaped car was faster though. She took third over all.
