MAZZERR
I'm looking for a mint or near mint red 88-89 conquest with black interior. Either transmission is ok. I would prefer a 1989 tsi-r if one even exists anymore. Engine mods are fine by me as long as the exterior and interior are not molested or modified. Location and budget are not an issue as long as the price and condition match up.I'm looking to add to an '80's collection without restoring. I have a complete 1987 black on black 5speed in ok all stock condition and a 1988 blue roller if anyone must trade.
MAZZERR
I would also consider a Starion if it was a really mint one.

ekstatixx
Sorry ive seen many come and go. And my 89 starion is prob one of maybe 30 left in the us. Its hard to let it go to someone I dont know. This car must be in the hands of someone who will keep it. So no offense but if this car ended up wrapped around a pole or parted out I would be very sad.
R Heller
From the look of his cave I do not think he has ever sold a single car he has owned through the years
GINASQ
Weird post count determined if you'd sell it? I know a few folks with very low to no post who have had these cars since day one. I know one was a mitsubishi engineer the 70s and 80s he has a screen name but zero post on this site. He has about 7 of these cars including a mint first year jdm model that he's the og owner of. If he came and posted a wtb, he'd have no credibility just for his post count? That's crazy, I understand you not wanting to let go a rare car to just anyone but posy count shouldn't be a factor. Some people just dont Internet. TSIboostman
the truth is that 90 to 95 percent of all the ones trying to get 9-12 grand for these cars and listed as pristine and in like new condition are not. The cars are 25+ years old at this point and even if they have sat for 22 of those 24 years there will be things that do not work or need to be fixed. I always look at the pictures of these cars, the front and rear emblems on them are hard to replace and you can always tell once they have been replaced or removed either from paint work or accident damage. It is one of the things I always look for when examining these cars or any car by photos with not being able to see it in person. The guy with the red one is playing games a little, either he will not sell it or it will pop up again. If he truly wanted to sell it then it would have been sold. I will bet you that it ends up back on eBay at some point again. A lot of the posters here that have put a lot into these cars do not want to see them go to any body that would not love them as much as they do. You can not blame then for that.
