R/Tquest
I can't seem to locate the filter. At least not what NaPa sold me. Is is above the tank? She sputters a little sometimes. Hard to explain… thought it was the turbo boot but I've fixed that… No vacuum leaks. New(er) injectors. Very odd symptoms. New non-jet head about 4500mi. ago. did it before too I think. Does it more when it's cold. Maybe the turbos goin er something. can u smell it…? 19cturbo
its in the engine bay.. look at your master cylinder for your brakes and look straight down, right in front of the steering gear.. there should be a rubber hose that runs striaght up to the throttle body

19cturbo
should have the same shape.. where the fuel line bolts to it may look a little different..
Starfighterpilot
I would strongly suggest that you down load the '88 Starquest Field Service Manual and start reading it. The filter mentioned above is not the only filter/ strainer in the fuel system that can cause problems. Also see this link http://starquest.i-x.net/viewtopic.php?t=1031 Let us know what you find. For What It's Worth. KEN

vbrad511
There's also a strainer in the tank, a cone filter at the fuel pump, and screens in the mixer housing.
