well I got lucky and found myself a really nice 87 roller I don't have any pics from when i bought but it had a sweet lambo door (just the drivers door ) witch is now gone and some sweet header panel vents cut in, also gone now but here is a pic right before the resto just after a 5 hour buffing

on the way to storage I blew the s shaped coolant line

I also had a rear main oil leak so i decided it was time to freshen her up so i pulled the motor that night took about and hour

once I pulled the pan to change the seal i noticed some broken piston oil cooler

so I figure it was time for a full rebuild witch I'm glad i did as the wrist pins on the broken cooler pistons were in very bad shape as were some of the bearing and the oil pump gasket looked weird

while the engine was out I decided to respray the bay cause the PO did a crap job

I decided I would wire wheel the bay do to some rust under the brake master and PS box this was a very long process prob about 30 hours

I ended up going with self etching primer and R04 from napa and a home made spray booth

spec on the engine- block hot tanked, fluxed, new freeze plugs, decked with timing cover installed and bore 30 over with torque plate. wiseco 8.1 piston with floating pins, shot peen and race preped rods with arps.10 over regrind crank, arp in the mains, new piston oil cooler BSE, JVE, on freshened up stock head for now. also you may notice in the last pics those are not stock stud those are arp exhaust manifold studs for a f50 with a 4.6 my friend had some laying around and the fit like a glove.
