conq2230
My OEM front struts are oil based. Before I destroy the original struts, do I just replace with the inserts? Thanks

DMNDSTAR87
yep----just did mine----very simple----only issue I had was the spacers that came with my tokikos---they were too tall so the gland nut would only thread on about 2 threads and that is no bueno----I just cut them down and good to go---I also had hydraulic struts in my car so just a heads up be prepared for a mess of fluid once you remove the nut----gig out Edited May 30, 2013 by DMNDSTAR87
conq2230
Front and back struts installed after 165K miles on originals. Forgot what its like to have working struts on car. Also, nice not to hear the creaking when turning the steering well after replacing the front strut mounts.
