I'm trying to source a new boot. this is the oem boot that came with the car. it had all the vynil coating on it all stick and melty, idk I think my old conquest had the same problem. I soaked it in rubbing alcohol, stripped all sticky coating off, I was left with the OEM shift boot in this cloth looking texture, light grey. I bought RIT dye, soaked it for about an hour in a black bath. I might do round 2. I really wanted to get the car ready for pics, I lag. But it's technically not a mod.
