I know its not a Quest, but we have some rotary lovers on here...lol I have a 1989 Mazda RX-7 s5 convertible for sale. 5 speed. Black with grey leather interior.

Car does need some love. Top needs replacing, though it does not leak or make wind noise. Passenger side window moves slow. It works but needs help when lifting the window. According to multiple articles on it, its usually just nasty grease in the window track needing cleaned out. And either the wiper switch or wiper motor needs replaced as when the wiper motor is plugged in, the wipers stay on whenever the key is on. And lastly, I believe the front struts or mounts are in need of replacing. Car rides rough over bumps and doesn't feel as tight as it should. Still handles well. But compared to my other one doesn't feel as tight. I haven't looked into it as its freezing outside. Lol.

Otherwise, as far as running, car runs excellent. Pulls smoothly over the entire rpm band, and pulls pretty hard for an n/a. All stock only with aftermarket mufflers that aren't too loud. Only running issue is when starting it stone cold in the morning it doesn't want to idle til it runs for like 5-10 seconds so you have to feather the throttle. Then again it has been in the 20s and 30s here, from what I've been told, rotaries are not fans of the cold. Or its could be the idle control valve or whatever it is the rotaries have.

Top works great, stereo sounds good including the head rest speakers, interior is in pretty good shape. Seats aren't perfect, but few are. Also, heat and a/c both work and work very well.

Basically, with a little love, this car could be very nice. NO RUST. Slap some coilovers on it, come summer, drop the top, and you've got a nice little cruiser.

I'm looking for $2000 with the Mustang wheels. $1800 with the stock BBS wheels. I'm moving back to Florida and have four cars and am picking up another, basically it needs to go. I'd consider reasonable offers, but the Mustang wheels are staying with me for anything less than $2k.
