Nice! Watching this.

 

The main reason alluminum is used for intakes and steel usually isn't is that alluminum doesn't retain heat, it dissipates heat quickly while steel will retain the heat much longer. (The atoms in steel are closer together and more polarized.)

this i know lol, however i dont have access to a aluminum welder.

i now have a new welder, and plenty of time (lost my job today lol) i plan to have this intake done tomorrow (aside from throttle body)

this one is a prototype anyway, hence the flange being to thin. if i ever get the money ill get the stuff i need to weld aluminum, but if this works good it will be the design
