I'm selling my 89 quest to make way for my blue beast I'm building in the engine swap section. It's a pain in the arse to keep up with 4 vehicles and this one has been a blast to own, I don't really want to sell it, but I need to. I also just bought a grand prix GTP as a daily driver and makes it easy to load my child in and out of a 4 door car, so I don't drive this one very much.

It has some rust in the front part of the drives quarter panel down low and a little bit starting at the top of the wheel well, and the normal frame rust that these car have. I removed the antenna and covered the hole with white tape, and there's a small tear in the rear bumper as well.

List of mods are: Precision front mount intercooler supports 600 HP Part Number: PIN053-1010

HOLSET HY35 mounted to a stock manifold, 2.5" hard pipes, GM MAF Translator, MSD 6al with blaster 2 coil, tach adapter, shift light with a set of rpm chips. Trilogy fuel pressure regulator. Taylor wires. ABS, Jet valve and AC delete. Shortened stock shifter. South Bend Clutch (6 puck ceramic). Unothadox 11 lb aluminum flywheel with changeable face plate. 3" Down pipe to full 3" mandrel bent exhaust. Manual boost controller. Autometer boost and pyrometer gauges with a TRE sensor. Walbro 255 fuel pump, Hard wired with relay. Suspension Technique front springs. Tokico struts all around. NEW drag link or center link for steering rods. Cross drilled and slotted rotors. Remote mount rear battery conversion with an aluminum box and lid. HEAVY gauge wire with fuse and rear ON/OFF switch to meet track standards.

Polished 8" and 9" SHP wheels!

I think that's everything... She has 173k of miles, previous owner said it was rebuilt, but had no paper work. The engine has a lifter tick and always has. This car runs like a champ, never had a running issue with it, always been able to get in and go.

It ran a 13.2 ET at 115 mph spinning 1rst, most of 2nd, and chirped 3rd @ 18 psi.

Nice porno red interior to boot! with a 1rst gen steering wheel. If you don't want the wheel I might have another red one instead.

Price is $3,500 firm. Not interested in trades. Call or text 1-574-215-0628 I have more pictures if interested. No tire kickers.

I have alot of $$ money into this car and time. You would pay more than twice my asking price for just the parts alone.

Just got it back out, still for sale. $3,500 obo

Damn the red interior!!! The white SQ's are the best looking, but it seems 95% of them came with the ugly red or burgandy interior.

And, why no air filter on the turbo??

That interior was ugly at first, but the "sport" seats help offset it some, it grows on you after a while. I have what appears to be a whole black interior to put in it, but I'm not going through all that.

As for the air filter, I normally have a screen on it.

I just aquired another quest that I'm going to be stripping down and their is a strong chance that I might be putting another G54B motor in it, with only 70k on it and trans. Plus I have the gauge cluster to use with it, to help track the millage.

I am not too well versed on turbo cars, but you have a "screen" on it? To keep out the big leaves and small animals? If there is no filter then all the little dirt particles are heading into your engine, no? Isn't that bad for the engine?

Let me know if I am way off base, but I don't think one would want to run an engine like that for too long.....

Sweet Jesus, that is a fantastic looking body on that car. I am absolutely and completely jealous of how nice your car looks. Wish I had the money to throw around, I'd snag it in a heartbeat. Anyways, good luck with selling it! Hope it goes to a good home!

Yeah, maybe... I'm considering just pulling the go fast parts off and putting it back to stockish. I have another engine with only 70,000 miles on it that I was considering putting in it as well... It's a super clean car and I'm not forced to sell it, just know I need to, lol. You get what you pay for. Ask some members on here that have went through what it takes to go from a ragged out bucket to a gem... Your going to pay twice what I'm asking.

and done with my rant. Ha

Edited for noticing a previous post stating that you do have black interior pieces.

I'm looking to purchase in the near future and this one is close by so I'd like to take a look.
