CaliConquestAlex
I picked up one of these 1" throttle body spacers for my magna intake. To me, it serves several purposes including creating additional clearance between the tps and the fuel return hose as well as allowing the throttle cable bracket to have more turns on the lockdown screws. Who knows....maybe it'll have some kind of performance benefit. Note that the kit doesn't come with the right screws. Chad uses a different thread pitch so you'll have to get longer bolts in the same thread pattern. http://www.ebay.com/...tr#ht_993wt_905 http://i17.ebayimg.com/03/i/02/62/0c/a0_1.JPG Edited May 7, 2012 by CaliConquestAlex
Shelby
there is one funtion most miss,, the 1 inch gives a more uniform air flow into the #1 cyl runner , with a thin flange mount the air enters the #1 runner right off the throdle body , my builder and i look'd at this when doing the intake moding , we are not experts but to us it look'd like the air would be more able to flow more evenly if it had a chance to even out the turbulance from the throdle plate with a longer runner,, air pressure traveling in a straight line tends to keep going in the same direction,, it builds up from the rear of the plentum towards the front then flows into the intake runnersso we made the 1 inch spacer part of the intake then weld'd on a 1/2" mounting plate not a 1/4" plateis one way better then another 'shurg' who knows but to me it just look'd better http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10009/Dcp_0292.jpg
